DentalClinic24 is not just a dental clinic – it is a place where medicine and aesthetics merge into a single experience. From the very beginning, Professor Alexander von Breuer believed that treatment starts not with instruments, but with atmosphere. That is why the architecture and interior of DentalClinic24 were created as an extension of the philosophy of “gentle dentistry” – one where not only the result matters, but also the journey toward it.
Professor von Breuer, who taught for many years in Vienna and Zurich, studied how space influences the perception of pain and anxiety. He concluded that a clinic should communicate with a person long before the doctor says a word. This idea gave birth to the concept of “art dentistry” – an approach where design itself becomes part of therapy. Every element, from the soft light in the lobby to the natural shades of the walls, was designed to evoke calm and trust.
Instead of sterile white walls, there are warm pastel tones, European art pieces, and natural wood textures. Instead of the sharp smell of antiseptics – a clean, fresh scent carefully curated in collaboration with psychologists. Even the sounds are therapeutic: soft music, quiet voices, gentle footsteps. Everything is designed to create a feeling of safety, where fear of the dentist is replaced by comfort and curiosity.
Particular attention is paid to lighting – Professor von Breuer believes that light is what shapes the patient’s emotional balance. Each treatment room at DentalClinic24 uses adaptive lighting systems that adjust to the procedure and the patient’s state. During examinations, the light is bright yet warm; during consultations, it becomes softer and more private.
The architecture of the clinic follows the principle of open space – there are no visual barriers. This is not only a symbol of transparency but also a way to relieve subconscious tension. Patients see that everything is open, safe, and under control – and that sense of clarity builds the trust that keeps them coming back.
DentalClinic24 became one of the first clinics in Europe where the design was developed collaboratively by dentists, architects, and psychotherapists. Professor von Breuer is convinced that a beautiful environment can heal no less than precise medicine. Every detail here is part of a greater idea – one where care is expressed not only through words, but through space itself.
“We don’t just treat teeth,” says Professor von Breuer. “We create a space where a person feels safe. Because healing begins with trust.”
